Accompanied by an experienced instructor, children can take part in private or group ski lessons, as well as snowboard lessons perfectly adapted to their needs and desires. Whichever school you choose, your budding skiers will have a memorable winter in the Alps.

To help your little ones develop in complete safety and learn to ski at their own pace, there's nothing like a few lessons from instructors with proven pedagogical skills. Since 1945, the Ecole du Ski Français has been teaching skiing to children of all levels and ages.
During children's ski lessons at Portes du Soleil, the certified instructors will adapt to the needs and specificities of the youngest children, so that they can discover board sports in the best possible conditions.

Courses for children of all ages with esf
With a wide range of courses on offer, the Portes du Soleil ski resorts provide optimum support for children and teenagers of all ages and abilities.
The Club Piou-Piou, which acts as both a learning centre and a day nursery, is ideal for toddlers. In specially designed areas, children can begin to enjoy the pleasures of the snow at their own pace. Then, from the age of 6 and up to 12, young skiers can go on to proper lessons and tackle their first runs under the expert guidance of our instructors.
Teenagers aged 13 or 14 and over can enjoy a memorable experience on the slopes, whatever their level. Beginners' courses, discovery courses or even preparation for competitions are just some of the options that will delight them during their stay in the mountains!

Group ski lessons or private lessons: your children will be delighted!
Portes du Soleil children's ski lessons can take a number of different forms, depending on what you feel is best for your young athlete. In each of the resorts in the French-Swiss Portes du Soleil area, the esf offer group lessons in small numbers so that each pupil can be looked after efficiently. But you can also book private lessons, which will allow your child to progress alone or in small groups.
What about snowboarding?
If your little one already has a taste for the boards, you should know that the esf also offers group or private snowboarding lessons. This more recent discipline has met with phenomenal success and has nothing to envy from the traditional board sport of skiing. It's a great way to get to grips with the new sensations of gliding through the snow for a memorable winter!
